About Us
Bathed in the world of old books since I was a child, I quickly decided on a career in the rare book business. After I finished my studies in Art History, I spent one year in London and then I started to work in my parents’ prestigious bookshop in 2001.
Willing to broaden my knowledge of the various aspects of the profession, I spent one year and a half improving my knowledge of books at the greatest international book dealers’ side, in Paris and in New York (at the Librairie Thomas-Scheler, Ursus Books, Martayan Lan).
In 2005 I moved back to Paris and opened my own structure.
I specialize in: incunabula, voyages and travels, first editions, science, manuscripts, fine illustrated books, literature… My area of expertise spans from the 15th to the 20th century.
I participate in: the California International Antiquarian Book Fair, in the New York Antiquarian Book Fair and in the International Antiquarian BookFair of Paris.
My objectives are:
- to internationalize the market (to be in permanent contact with worldwide book dealers, to take part in all the important international book fairs in order to meet regularly my clients, to be extremely mobile and available for my customers).
- to find rare books and to study them seriously before I offer them for sale.
- to arouse interest with the publication of 3 catalogues every year.
- to develop a special reliable relationship with my clients by helping them to build a top-of-the-range collection, by giving them advice throughout their quest for rare books.
I offer a total guarantee as for the books I sell: all the books I offer for sale have been carefully collated first, and their rare defects are always mentioned. I am always looking for the most beautiful copies on the market.
