On September of 2019, our bookshop had the honor of participating once again in the Biennale Paris, the Parisian highlight on the international art market calendar.
For this 31st edition, we wanted to surprise and amaze visitors of the Grand Palais by creating, as usual, a unique setting to present our rare and precious works. This year, it is the decor and atmosphere of the bookstore, with its ancient bookshelves, that have been transposed in situ to offer a sumptuous and warm setting to our antiquarian books.
We were delighted to welcome during this event art lovers from around the world, came to admire and browse through our chosen books in various themes. Indeed, illuminated manuscripts from the 15th century have accompanied, during these few days, sought-after first editions of French literature, sumptuous botanical books or rare ornithology treatises abundantly illustrated.
A big thank you to the organizers of the Biennale for this unique event in France, and thank you to the 38,700 visitors who came to meet us during these few days of September!
We also thank the journalists who mentioned the bookshop in their articles devoted to the world of art:
