On the occasion of the publication of this book, an exhibition of the works reproduced in it was organized at the Galerie du Pont Royal.
One of the 44 numbered copies (n°XX) on vellum « pur chiffon » paper, only large-paper issue, each comprising a signed autograph manuscript of one of the poems and a proof of the original copper-engraving by Raoul Ubac which has been reproduced on the cover.
The autograph poem of the present copy is dedicated to Juan Gris (1 page and a half folio), poem that figures page 24 of the book.
